My YAHOO is a short valley full of info-echoes

My Yahoo!

I AM REALLY IMPRESSSSED with the NU YAHOO! Yes I Do. Here's an experiment you can do to see if you do too... like the NU Yahoo!

Okay, Briefly put: DO THIS and find yourself, perhaps, a new, simple, and FREE - 21st Century Info-Joy toy.

1 - Open your IE Browser
2- Go to Yahoo! and log in as your Yahoo! profile. (or get one if you don't) its' free. Write it down!
3- Open up, and create your new "My Yahoo" page and at the least, just change the colors. I used the GUNMETAL TECHIE one from the color template available on the first page. Gives a nice new-look to this new INFO TOOL.
4- Open up your Browser PREF's or OPTIONS and set THIS PAGE (you're new "my yahoo") as your HOME PAGE.

Okay, so now you have this constantly changing MyYahoo page as a changable, and changing interface to ANYTHING you like. I also added my Y! Groups so it will post the last 3 recent articles too.

hang on, it gets better. (BTW Yahoo (mail, an option with your free account) gives you 100 meg's of storage and a great spamlessly sweet email system I've heard. New 2 me 2, but so far I really like it.

So, NOW...
5- Go to a Yahoo Groups !Site. (mine are easily reachable from www.drix.org

and on the bottom of page one, click (add to MyYahoo)
6- Hit your HOME button, and see what happens.
I suggest you (EDIT) it to the top of the page in that column.
7- Click in every so often and see how the WHOLE SET-UP worx for you.
Use Firefox for surfing, and this for... info/etc.

You can add other Y!Groups to it too, so it's a CUSTOM newspaper. Add the 95th Y!Group to your MyYahoo too so you can see 2 busy sites to show you how people generated activity (not a professinonal news org.) can be updated and .. it's cool and fun new stuff...
Go get your Yahoo! and see how U DO 2!
